Safari Style was set up in the end of 2005 and was mainly used as a base for the civilians that came to Rumbek to aid in the peace agreement process. It continues to be a base for many who have been posted to Rumbek. It has developed over the last few years from being all canvas structures to now having brick buildings and a large mess area where the restaurant and bar are situated.

It is often said by the people that come and stay that Safari Style is an oasis that allows you to escape from the harsh realities of a newly developing war stricken country. We strive to make your visit here a memorable one with pool volleyball sessions on Sundays and the odd karaoke night for those who can brave it. This is a good place to come for a chill out session too if that is what the doctor ordered as there are always people around to share stories with and escape further still from reality. Many people who have not visited the South Sudan say that we must be suffering but here at Safari Style we try to at least Suffer in Style
